Meet the FAB Members
Meet the FAB Members
The Fan Advisory Board is a panel of supporters voted for by fellow fans. The FAB meets regularly with members of the club's leadership team to discuss club matters, suggest ideas and raise any concerns coming from the fanbase.
It acts as a formal channel for two-way communication, aiming to strengthen the relationship between the club and its fans by ensuring their perspectives are considered in decision-making processes.
There are currently 11 representatives on the board, which includes space for members of the fan group Brewers Union.
The first meeting was held in March 2025, where the following members were elected: Andy Woolley (Chairman), Richard Moore (Secretary), Ray Garlick, Steve Cruickshank, Mitchell Holmes, Hannah Williams, Keith Legrice, Ben Boocock, Ed Bates and Ed Willis. Additionally, Luke Taylor and Jack Preston represent the Brewers Union.
Further information about what we aim to achieve can be found in this July 2025 article published by the Burton Mail.

Andy is a season ticket holder who attends games home and away. He works in the Infrastructure Asset Management sector and through Hatton Darts Running Club he is also a member of the organising committee for the annual Burton 10k road race.

Richard has been a Brewers fan for over 40 years and has worked with many diverse communities across the Midlands to help improve their environments through community regeneration projects. He has also been a retained firefighter with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service for 25 years.

Mitchell follows the club all over the country as a fan, describing it as “one of the most joyous things I get to experience” every week. He also says he is able to integrate and understand diverse cultures and backgrounds thanks to his experiences in his personal and professional life.

Hannah has enjoyed attending Burton Albion games since the 2022/23 season and has been “hooked” ever since. She is keen to ensure everybody has a voice through the newly formed FAB, whether it be a suggestion, query, or issue that can be brought forward for discussion.

He is a PhD student at the University of Nottingham studying Atmospheric Chemistry where he is developing his communication skills through presenting research to large audiences. He wants to use these skills to give every fan a voice.
